At Roc Gutters we hear a lot of the same questions so we created this section to address some of those.
What type of gutters do you use?
We use 0.032″ (thirty-two thousandths) gauge gutter coils. This is the heaviest gauge gutter for strength and rigidity. We can install 5″ or 6″ gutters and 2″x3″ or 3″x5″ downspouts depending on your needs.
Will I need gutter covers?
Gutter covers prolong the life of your gutters by keeping debris and critters out and only letting water in. If you have leafy overhead or wind-blown trees this is highly recommended, but even if you don’t, birds, squirrels and other critters can nest in your gutters causing havoc with your drainage system.
What kind of gutter covers do you use?
We use Raytec™ REAL® Gutter Covers, a perforated sheet-metal cover that forms to the inside of your gutter and is screwed in from the top, maintaining a smooth frontal appearance. These are the most effective covers we have found, and we tried a bunch! We will tell you we’ll clean your gutters free for 25 years but the truth is we won’t have to, these covers clean themselves.
Do you offer other services?
ROC Gutters are gutter specialists however we also fabricate and install soffits, fascia board and fascia metal with the same expertise as we do gutters.
Will there be visible seams and spikes like my old gutters?
No. ROC Gutters uses seamless gutter coils that are custom-fabricated on site to the exact measurements of your home. We use an internal bracket system that is not visible from the ground. When corners are encountered, our gutter specialists custom-fit mitered joints to create a perfect corner, inside or out.
How long will I have to wait for my installation after I hire ROC Gutters?
ROC Gutters has multiple gutter specialists in the field. Our normal scheduling times are usually less than a week, and sometimes as quick as one day. You may also request a specific day for your installation, however this would be subject to availability.
How long will it take to install my gutters?
This greatly depends on the size of the house and the overall footage and complexity of your gutters and downspouts however an average-sized job is usually completed in approximately 4 hours.
Will ROC Gutters remove my old gutters from my property?
Yes. Your gutters will be removed and added to our scrap bunker and eventually recycled at a local scrap facility. You may request to keep your old gutters if you prefer to scrap them yourself.
Does ROC Gutters offer discounts of any kind?
Yes. We honor our Veterans, Seniors and (because Sal was a career educator) Teachers with a 10% Discount on their entire job.
